They are faster, more efficient, and far safer for the warfighter. To celebrate the rich history of the B-17 Flying Fortress and the May 17th opening of the Memphis Belle exhibit at National Museum of the Air Force, at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base Ohio, we take a moment to do a quick comparison between the B-17 Flying Fortress and the B-2 Spirit to illustrate the evolution of the bomber.
